These two photos are of my brother, Alex. He and I don't always get along, probably due to our conflicting interests (I like art and literature while he doesn't like to do much besides play videogames). The few times we do interact, we usually end up fighting, but sometimes we can get along. Mostly when we're playing board games together. Taking these photos was challenging because Alex is 10 and hates sitting still, so there was a lot of chasing him around involved. I ended up taking a lot more than five pictures of him, but most of them were blurry. These two were the lucky winners that had a decent amount of light and balance. I had to put his face in the center of the thirds grid by cropping the image. The color photo has an interesting story behind it: he was annoyed that I told him he had to stand still for the photos, so he decided to be as difficult as possible. He was running around, making weird faces, waving his arms around, etc. For this one, he laid down on the ground laughing, but it ended up making a pretty good picture.
