These photos were taken at a cider mill that my family was visiting. I was originally going to take pictures of a pumpkin patch they had, but then I saw this giant puddle of water (or maybe it was a little lake?) and thought it was cool. It was kind of difficult to take these photos because there was a herd of horses in the field behind it, and I had to make sure they weren't in the frame.
I took these while standing on a dock over the pictured lake. My mom was with me, and she kept telling me to take pictures of a couple of birds that were swimming. I, however, preffered to get just the lake. Then I took a picture of grass because I liked how the sun was hitting it.
My family stopped here on the way back home from the cider mill so I could take pictures of the trees. At this point the sun was starting to get low on the horizon so I got some cool shadows. I also got this cool picture of a branch against the sky, and turned the cotrast up on the image so it looked more like a silhouette.
I took these near the Huron river. I would have taken more of the actual river instead of the nearby trees, but there were a lot of bridges that were reflecting in the water. I came here with my grandma a lot when I was little, and we used to stand on the bridge and throw sticks into the river.
These photos were taken on the edge of a forest near my neighborhood. These were fun because there was a lot of contrast between light and dark colors and it made for a good, colorful photo. The left photo was difficult to take because of the light on the ground: my shadow kept shoing up and it was hard to position myself so I wasn't visible.
